Installation

Worklog is available for Linux, Windows, and macOS.

Get Started

The easiest way to get Worklog is to download the pre-built binary for your operating system from our dedicated download page.

Go to Download Page →

Platform Specifics

Linux (AppImage / Deb)

Download the .AppImage or .deb file. For AppImage, make it executable:

chmod +x worklog_1.2.6_amd64.AppImage
./worklog_1.2.6_amd64.AppImage

Windows (Exe)

Run the Worklog_1.2.6_x64-setup.exe and follow the installation wizard.

macOS (DMG)

Open the .dmg file and drag Worklog to your Applications folder.

Initializing Workspace

Once installed, open Worklog and select a directory to act as your workspace. Worklog will create a hidden .worklog folder to store your local database and configuration.

Note: We recommend choosing a directory that is NOT already managed by another cloud sync service (like Dropbox or Google Drive) to avoid database lock conflicts. Use our Git Sync feature for cross-device collaboration instead.
